This happened after the previous patch as well, I am guessing it has to do with server traffic...

I check for updates, it finds an update, starts downloading at a decent speed. After the progress bar has made it to the end it turns to this:
From knowing how downloads work, I am guessing after it downloads the file it then tries to get a checksum file and when it can't get the file (due to server traffic?) it pukes. Purely speculation on my part obviously.

I tried using the game launcher to initiate the update check and I tried using the start menu link. I have restarted my computer. If it is like last update, in a day I should be able to do it. But this is ridiculous, restarting a partial download is a decades old technology, you guys really need to update your downloader.

also some 3rd party poor AV interfere with the process, eg scanning when it runs which slows down the install or stops it altogether, installing and running as admin helps for those
