Is there any relatively easy way to add some new music tracks to Field of Glory based on some mp4 or other files?

I don't know about adding new music alongside what is already in the game but you can easily replace what's there. Just rename an MP3 music file to one of the below (depending on where you want it to play). They are pretty self-explanatory. EX: Deploy would play on the battle maps when you are choosing and setting up your forces

Download that and you can see where the files are, and how they are named. As Mord says, it just a question of naming your new files the same as the vanilla ones, and pasting them into the games Music and/or Sounds folders.
