Hello, Please help me. Something very weird happens which never occurred to me in any other game.
I'm on Win 7, last game version installed without DLC. Unit selection or clicking anywhere in the map with the mouse doesn't work. But mouse works with all other elements of game: windows and in-game menu.

Sorry, I haven't run a PC on Win 7 in many years and I don't think it is supported by Slitherine for this title either. Unless someone else out there can help you, you just might be on your own or forced to upgrade your operating system.

well I know at least two people whose Panzer corps 2 work without problems on Win 7x64

Oh, I think you misunderstood me. They have claimed it will work on Win7 from the beginning, but if you're having any kind of technical issues they are not "supporting" it, meaning offering any kind of technical help. Like a printer manufacturer who won't help you if they find out that you don't have their ink cartridges in it.

WIN 7X64 works fine for me also.

Try... replacing battery... unplug/re-plug the mouse connection...verify game files...try a different mouse.

Wireless mouse should be avoided from a general perspective.

Thanks, but I got a usual wired mouse.
No problems whatsoever in any game or software. Mouse works in PC2 too right and left button, except clicking in the map area. UI menu works.

Just a suggestion but see if the mouse works when you play PC2 in windowed or non-windowed display mode.
Also borrow a pals mouse and see if that works.
PS- I can play PC2 fine on Win7 and Win10
