Slitherine

This is my second tournament and I was wondering what, if anything, can be done about folks who sign up and then never show up to actually play. When I signed up it said I would get an email telling me it was my turn to go but I never received anything - either in this tournament or the last one. I was late getting into my first tournament because I never received a notification. I just happened to check in to the multiplayer area to see what was going on. Perhaps this is one of the reasons people to show up to play? They just forget and never get a reminder.

This is indeed something we're aware of and looking to improve upon.

You should get email notifications when it's your turn in any PBEM game, including tournaments. It's worth checking your spam folder to see if our mails are being sent there, or check your profile on the slitherine website to check that you've got notification emails enabled.

We are going to drop an email round to participants today to remind them that the tournament has started which will hopefully nudge a few more games off the starting blocks.
