I get this error message on startup of the game

But then it lets me go to the main menu I have not tried going beyond that though ... what should I do .. I just bought the game ...

There seem to be a few launcher glitches for the steam version.

yeah I don't have the steam version I try not to use steam unless the game can only be bought on steam

Update Net.Framework and C++ on your system.

I get these two messages with PzCorps2 on my Win 7 PC but i can click 'OK' to ignore them and the game plays anyway. Just try ignoring the kernel message yourself and see if you can play too..
But on my Win 10 PC i get no such messages and it plays fine there too.
(PS- for the record I bought PzCorps2 from the Slitherine store, not from Steam)

The message says try to reinstall the program...
Otherwise, install the Steam version (Steam is more convenient for updates that are done automatically).

I don’t think it has anything to do with Windows 7 or 10. I think the computer with windows 7 is older than the one with windows 10. Yeah maybe its the graphics driver I installed it on a win 7 originally it runs fine but I get the message then installed it on a windows 10 laptop that is fully updated the stand alone panzer corps 2 the original version that is available for download not the legacy the 10110 version this one would not run got a weird error message but game would not start but the installed the update and then the windows 10 laptop runs fine ..... so runs on win 7 even with the error message and runs fine on windows 10 as long as ya run the patch

It is still possible to upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 free and legally.
