2 issues I am having with your game. I cant get the main campaign to load it just sits on the screen with the ocean monsters attacking boats and eating people. I noticed the post below about a fix but have no idea how to do it.
Also if I play the short campaign, you can choose between the free campaign and 1 other one, doesn't matter which hero I choose after 2 turns the left mouse button no longer works and the save icon continues to glow. Appears to be stuck in a save loop. I've tried to restart from the saved point get a blank map, no troops just the grey fog.
I have no idea where the logs you mention in another post are located or how to find them, I've tried going through windows to my PC but don't see any listings for fantasy general.
any help you can give to the non technical type would be appreciated.

Log file is at Documents\My Games\Fantasy General II, iirc.

I seem to have resolved my issue. Turns out I didn't download the February patch. I got the later one. Its what happens when you buy complete bundle and are doing numerous downloads.
