Slitherine

Hi folks, is there any easy way of finding out which side one is playing in a PBEM game? I was slightly embarrassed to ask this question of my opponent but he was also not sure. We both have Byzantine type armies. One Latin and one Nicaea.
I thought I was Latin until I started to get a better % when I wasn't doing well. I'm Nicaea. So is there a way of reminding oneself of what faction one has?

On the battle map screen, your army is always the top one listed in the upper left corner.

Your opponent sees the opposite (his army is the top one listed.)
