Mission briefing dialog needs work

I'm 3 missions into Allies Resurgent, and the mission briefing dialog needs some editing. It's very "chatty", cluttered up with needless exposition, instruction and characterization, excessive use of the word "though", and several typos. This isn't consistent with the trend established in the core game and other DLC. Usually the dialog is concise, providing just enough detail to understand the priority of objectives, and the characterization of the "speaker" is sparse enough to add a touch of immersion without attempting some sort of cutscene-type characterization. I know this is a minor thing, and maybe not a "tech" issue, but it's something that has previously been done very well and it's disappointing to be distracted by it in this release.

Agree that it's not Tech Support, so I moved it here.
I will add a minor quibble: Although "Colonel" or "General" would be capitalized when relaying a conversation in which a person is addressing someone by his military rank, I have rarely seen "Sir" written with a capital "S" as in "Looks like the Marines are doing a great job on Guadalcanal, Sir."
Yet I have seen this repeatedly in official OOB DLC.
For example, I would have it thusly: "My opinion, Colonel, is that this hill cannot be taken by the forces that we have at hand. Therefore, sir, I respectfully decline the mission."
I can visualize developer eyeballs rolling at this point, but there it is. High standards, indeed.

I second this. Having played up to Sicily, almost every briefing has weird sentence structure, poor grammar and odd use of tense. The briefings in all other dlc I've played are pretty good. Allies Resurgent should be at the same standard of English as all the others. Not game-breaking but it is distracting.

I agree that they are strangely worded at times. Also, it appears that a British officer is giving the US briefings.

Captain John H. Miller would have been more appropriate

Miller had been deployed to North Africa during the Operation Torch landings. Miller fought in Tunisia and Sicily in 1943, and he was promoted to Captain and given command of a ranger company.

Its kind of nice knowing what is happening at the same time in other parts of the world adds to the intensity to be successful in the upcoming battle knowing other troops are fighting the people in the East.

Perhaps a balanced fixed for the Mission Briefings would be to have in Bold the things that pertain to the battle at hand and then the historical info could just remain in normal text ...
For Example, ...
this info is nice to know and adds to the history lesson of the game but basically is not needed to know in the upcoming onslaught of a battle so it could remain like it is in NON BOLD text ...
The attachment brief normal.jpg is no longer available
Whereas this next info which is the next screen could all be in Bold therefore when one is in a hurry and does not need to practice reading etc. they could simply read the Bold text and then continue immediately to the battle and skip and not even look at any non bold text ...
