Hello everyone,

Do u need a steam account to do and play games u buy at S/MG? I am interested in 2 titles but although there is no mention of Steam in the requirements, there is the symbol in the shop page.

(I don’t have and don’t want a steam account)

IIRC only a tiny handful of our games require Steam (I think only Empires Apart). Most games you purchase directly from us do not require Steam. The symbol means they are also available on the Steam store.

Which products are you thinking of?

I was looking at WH40K:Battlesector and C:MO.

None of the two, requires you to have Steam.

The only game that requires Steam is Empires Apart.
