Pike & Shot is actually a ... WW2 game ???

When I modifiying Squads.csv, I notice a weird thing. In the third column of Squads.csv, each unit is defined as either "Allies" or "Axis". :!:

May I ask why would there be such a column in Squads.csv? "Allies" or "Axis" doesn't make sense for a game set in early modern era. Also what does this column actually do in game? What would happen if I change a "Allies" unit to "Axis"?

Because Pike and Shot was developed using the Battle Academy 2 STUB engine, and some of the named columns in the Squads sheet were required to exist by the engine, even though not actually used in Pike and Shot, or used differently.
