Brother fought brother over a deep stream to determine control of the Byzantine Empire. Plus there were some Georgians there too. At the end of the day, however, the unstoppable aggression of the Varangian Guard proved to be decisive. Good game to my opponent.

Well done to my opponent (275544491) who is a new player. The Sicilians and their Italian allies brought a formidable array of knights with a few foot bolstered by 2 standard wagons. This created a formidable defensive line. The knights lined up and charged the German line initially breaking through in places and catching some crossbowmen in the open. However attrition took its toll (as did the crossbow bolts) and the German mounted wing swept around the flank. In the end a standard wagon fell to some dismounted knights sealing the Sicilians fate.

Well played by gort7078. Some favorable defensive terrain and devastating shooting saw off the Tuareg horde just as they were seriously threatening the German left flank. The German's were inspired by their standard wagon wheeling up to the center of the line!
