Assuming that one is accepted as a play tester and receives some but not all of the materials, and one has comments on the materials sent (i.e. things that look like they have been proof read by Hammy :) ) how does one submit comments via the forum?

There's a FoGR playtest section to the forum; we'll be commenting there when they open it up to us. That may take a while though, since they have to go through and add us all as allowed posters. I know the FoGN ones took a week or two to get everyone in there after the playtest materials were sent round.

And sorry if this has been answered already but how do we get access to area 51 or the FoGR Beta Forum? I received the play test rules today!

You will get access to the FoGR Beta Forum as soon as the elves at Slitherine work their way through the list of beta testers.

The Area 51 section is for the rules developers - Beta-testers won't have access to this area. That is where we will discuss any changes we are considering as a result of your comments and discussions on the Beta forum.

Experience has shown that this separation is a necessary part of the process.

Sounds good. Have the next two days off to digest the rules and then will get playing next weekend!

I just got the Army lists and QRS.

However there are enough bugs in the Army list for me to fill a server with the queries.

Lol, I got 3 copies of the rules...so maybe they sent me yours

If you were a real rules lawyer, you would currently be checking if all 3 were the same... and if not, choosing which one gives you the angle.

Same here. Just the QRS and the army lists. (Which like you, I got some questions about--1 stand BG's?--How's that going to work?)

Oh no! The Ren rules have gone out? I didn't get a beta copy, does that mean I was not chosen as a beta playtester? Muskets are all primed for the late TYW, Frenchies and Bavarians itching to get at each other ....
