Dual Forums, but not dual representation of games?

Just curious.
Inasmuchas it is referred to as Slitherine Group, Is Slitherine and Matrix Games one corporate entity, or not?
I ask because Matrix Games and Slitherine seem to have some games that are represented equally, while others are not.
I just saw mention of a title called WEGO Stalingrad which appears to be connected with Desert War 1940-1942. Saw this on a YouTube channel for The Wargaming Guy.
Nice bit of news. but there is no forum here for Desert War, so I am not surprised there is no way to hear any conversation about WEGO Stalingrad either.
This raises the question, why is Desert War not represented here as well? Not even a redirect link.
And yes, I don't care for redirect links. If I'm on THIS forum, I prefer to be on THIS forum.
And the next question is, why are there even two forums?
If half the catalogue is on both, why? Why not just have one single unified forum?
Why 2 stores?
Why the redundancy?
How much 'group' is there in Slitherine Group?
I doubt this is the first time the question has been asked, but I have never seen it mentioned or answered.
I have access to Slitherine/Matrix Games of FB. Never seems to be a lot of content. Edit, spoke too soon. I need to search harder my settings were off.
And Slitherine on Steam often seems like a quiet forgotten media option.
