Dear players, last update regarding WTC, all the dates are confirmed, just the beginning date has been anticipated to 20th September.

19th July, Sltherine first official news of the event, presentation of the format + logo + launcher in the games dedicated to the recruiting.

13rd August, closing of the recruiting phase, ideal solution 20 or 24 teams just to have qualification phase with the stage groups that end in the same moment.

26th August, second news, presentation of the teams (teams invited to write a presentation text)

10th September, Event dedicated for the drawing of the groups, captains invited to participate making a real time show.

20th September, Beginning of WTC!

Slitherine and organizers (Stefano and Eric) particular focus:

After every turn a recap in the social and in the forum with the updated results and ranking.

From knockout phase Slitherine offers a series of videos with the highlights of the matches, recorded directly by the players involved and with the technical commentary of Richard Yorke.

Final prizes to be agreed. Possible rewarding of the first 4 teams

Final event (perhaps during one of Slitherine tea time) a chat with the winning team or its captain, asking how the tournament was and other questions + congratulations from Slitherine

There are a number of topics that need to be read and understood.

Take note of some additions to rules

The same army with ally is used throughout the competition.

3a). Role of the reserves

The players choose which reserves from their country are allocated to which teams.

In cases where some teams may have no reserves. The "additional reserves" will be allocated to teams as soon as the recruitment phase is over.

If reserves replace a team member they must use the army and allies specified. The organisers need to also be notified immediately.

The captain has overall responsibility for all team members, including all reserves. He can use the reserves as he sees fit. That is the possibility for all team members to play.
