I hit 1000 hours on steam

I hit now 1000 hours on steam ( i played more before offline but this is something special).
This game is still my most played and loved.

congrats I am at 4500 hours and have been playing mostly off steam now as it takes too long to load up on steam

I don't use Steam, but I have many many hours racked up offline. However much I spent for 1,000s of hours of fun and frustration has definitely been good value for money.

Especially for us all, that after 10 years there is no better alternative/enhanced edition available.

Mine too, lets hope that an enhanced edition it will be available soon

It is funny how playing war games used to be something I hid from people. I was the only one who did it in my house growing up and never really knew anyone else who did. It made me the butt of more than a few jokes in my life (including in the Army!). This was especially true during my last job of casino floor manager. I concede the point that it is a little childish to pass up partying with cocktail waitresses and showgirls in order to go home and try my new configuration in Soviet Corps.....but then again I am still married, didn’t gamble my savings away and stayed away from illegal drugs.
So I will say, without any reservations, “There you go Brother! There are a lot worse ways to spend a 1000 hours of recreation!”

Agreed, I choose this strategy game that exercises my analytic mind over sitting and watching the boob tube and have my mind become mush. I always had friends growing up that were into such games and I always equated them with intelligence, so I was always proud to have them in my life.
I haven't been playing PzC as long as many of you, but my hours played on Steam is through the roof. Probably because I don't play many other games and have it running in the background all day while I do other stuff.

I just would like to share with you a game like panzer corps of 2020 that I have just discovered : 'Hex of Steel'

If you liked Corps Panzer or General Panzer, this game is just 20 times better! Its big asset is an AI that does not cheat, that looks for loopholes in your defense, that encircle your units etc ... it's just mind-blowing this AI in the game. I'm not even talking about huge maps like that of the europe which promises you hundreds of hours of play. I can't believe I missed it. The game is also available on IOS / android.
