Evading and getting in the way

In a game last night by LF were charged by knights. They evaded, and the evade move put them right in front of another enemy knight BG. Now this BG can't charge the LF, can it (as they weren't a charge target when charges were declared)? So my LF get in the way of the knights, effectively stopping them from doing anything in their manoeuvre phase. Is that right ? It doesn't seem very fair on the knights to be held up like that.

The knights that did not charge are pretty much stuck. The evaders IIRC stop 1 MU away. The knight are not pinned by the LF, but that doesn't help much if they are undrilled. It would have perhaps been better to angle the charge differently or get the knights who were about to be stuck in a different position before hand or charge something else, in which case they would definately hit the LF that has just appeared in front of them. One of the bad things about games, as opposed to real life, but shows forward planning plays a big part.
