Game stops or "hangs" on very last turn

I'm replaying all the DLCs and am encountering an issue in AO39, Wlodawa. Very last turn (19) and the game hangs on the Soviet turn after I click "End Turn." I have replayed the entire turn from the beginning, emptied my cache, quit the game and reloaded it, done something different during my last turn...it all ends the same way. No crash screen, just stops. Never had this kind of issue before, or at least not on this map that I can remember.
Edit: I used the cheat to end the turn and continue. I am now in AO1940 and it has not occurred in any map since, just that one.

Since downloading lateds DLC 42 Constantly crash's and now will not load at all (any suggestions) see below

i seem to have the issue only in AO1942 after Rzhev when it wont let me go into next mission but simply crashes but previous campaigns work.

I have the issue in almost every scenario. Especially upon completing 'Poland South'
