So here are the proposed match-ups (subject to confirmation on Culloden after Kiwiwarlord's test games)

1. Late Middle Ages
English 1494-1542 v Scottish 1494-1557 (Age of Machiavelli) - a warm-up, plenty of pikes and bows
Open Battle, Agricultural terrain, wide, large armies

2. Border Reivers
English BR 1500-1534 v Scottish BR 1500-1534 - crazy light horse fun
Open Battle, Agricultural terrain, wide, large armies

3. 16th Century
English 1558 -1583 v Scottish 1560-68 - very interesting army lists, pikes+Highlanders for the Scots v strange composite blocks for the English
Open Battle, Agricultural terrain, wide, large armies

4. 'English' Civil War
Auldearn scenario - Montrose (a Scot fighting for Charles I) v the Covenanters - a small but intriguing action and who can resist the heroic Montrose?

5. The Jacobites
Culloden 1745 scenario... - no introduction needed.

And here are the proposed teams

Scots
Kiwiwarlord (The Bruce, Captain)
Snugglebunnies
AlexdeTrojan
Lascar
snooky51
PeterthePainter

English
Awesum4 (Hammer of the Scots, Captain)
Gribol
Gdod
Doyley50
Warrior230

Any comments or complaints? Let's try to get going soon so I will announce first match-ups this weekend.

We had some slow play and some drop-outs last time. I perfectly understand that this can happen but please let me and your opponent know if this should be the case for you. This allows me to reorganise things and you will be welcome to rejoin when you can.

Alan,

let slip the Dogs (not Dodds) of War and Cry God for Harry (the one that didn't have a Meghan),

Please post the matchups so we can slaughter these breechless hairy bastards in the traditional manner,

Andre Everrest the 3rd,

3rd Duke of Stiff-Upperlip upon Avon
