at this battle i can not use the "heal all" function. is this correct? are there any read me files that came with the cult of mirthas download? i cant seem to find any. thanks, couqi

There are key battles where you are being pursued or do not have time to rest where you will not be able to heal any of your squads. These can be quite tough, especially if you get a couple of these in a row!

Yeah, they're rough, alright.

Those goddam shadow warriors and ghost legions tear your guys up, and then you can't heal.

And worse still, you are never quite sure when you will not be able to heal up. Later in the ascension of Mars campaign, I was sure I was not going to be able to heal, but what d'ya know. So all those hold backs to keep casualties low, for nought. Then, they sucker punch you a bit later, when there are not really any clues in the storyline.

I haven't played this game in months, having figured out how to win at the hardest level. However, it certainly is very frustrating at the start of CoM and there is only one way to defeat the game that I know of. You must have a small, but very powerfull army that is a hardend, killing machine. no more than 10 or 11 units and try to keep the infantry units within the general's sphere of influence as much as possible. good luck, it can be done and is lots of fun once you get the right formula.
