any chance new units will be obtained like in Warhammer Dark Omen ? basicly you met these units on the campaignmap, and then got the chance to hire them (if you had enough money, or sometimes they joined for free). I think it's more interesting then just getting an army list like in LA, were you can buy anything aslong as you have sufficient money/rank. It certainly adds to the non linear gameplay and replayability.

It is certainly possible. The questing side is under design at the moment.

I wasn't a big fan of fantasy games until i played War of the ring, Lord of the ring: Battle for ME and Rising Kingdoms. I like games were magic is not dominant and Arena: Warriors seem to be the case. I've enjoyed all the games by Slitherine and i am very confident this will be no different. From what i've read, the game will be amazing and i can't wait to play it.
My computer managed to run Legion Arena but i am wondering if the spec will be different for that new game?

Cheers

PS the concept art is amazing...any chance for some wallpapers?

I'll talk to Richard. What size wallpapers are best these days? 1024x768 & 1280x1024?

Spec wise we are adding in much more flash, but it is all intended to be scalable. If your PC is slower you just run without the extra flashy graphics.

about wallpapers: bigger is better, they can always be scaled down.

Basically Legion Arena with Fantasy-races, then?

Well, as long as you include a Skirmish-Mode for offline play outside of the campaign this time around... :?

Unit Scale: Army/Regiment

I would like to know how many units per army? and how many men per unit? so that I can get an idea of the scale of the 3D battles, Thanks.

Its not set in stone yet, but we expect around 20 squads a side. Weaker units will be in larger groups so maybe you'll get 80 Goblins or a single hero unit.

Hmm.. is it just me, or do anyone else also think that this game sounds similar like Legion Arena set in a fantasy world, only with slightly improved features..?

When I first heard about Legion Arena, I got the same impression like the one I have when I read Arcane Legions' description above. Well, I hope I'm wrong, though.. But I still don't dare to keep my hope too high. That way, I won't be disappointed when it turned out to be different than expected.. :)

RPG and Strategy is both my favorite genre. Something which could blend the two perfectly is always the perfect choice..

Best of luck to you all..!

I'd like to see several different classes of generals, like one class thats kinda hard to kill, another that kills units easily... etc
