I would add a note that you do pick up something special for “free” in Lake Ladoga if you compete a bonus objective.

Can you get all the CP rewards this time if you manage to fulfill all objectives?

Yes, in the thread of Known Issues for 1942, they do mention a script error that prevents a special reward from that Scenario, and include a patch you can download that should fix it until the full patch comes out.

i dont understand one thing if i choose the Novorossiysk path i will get 2 hidden caches and nothing on the other (OP Nordlicht - which is misspelled here) path?

well i cant compare them yet im playing nordlicht route atm didnt saw yet what units you get at the other path, for now i like the hero you get in nordlicht

well you can always save on the last turn of the mission befor the choice and test them out

If you can rescue von Manstein's son (not guaranteed, he is surrounded by Soviets all the way at the east end of the map, across the river), he is an Infantry hero with Zero Slots and Vigilant.

In Novorossiysk you can get 34 Mig 3, 11 La 5 and 28 Pe3.
In Grozny you can purchase 35 Stug III Gs with commendation points. The aircraft depot yields 17 Lavochkin La 5 fighters and 29 Tupolev Tu 2 bombers.

I don't use those planes but the battles in the southern path are larger. So more experience for more units...

The Nordlicht path scenarios are easier and smaller (in map size and core deployment) than the Novorossiysk path.

However...the Novorossiysk path contains in my opinion the best two scenarios in the entire DLC, with me giving the nod to Grozny when judging between the two. I think in fact that that's a problem. I too would want the special hero, but you shouldn't have to miss out on a special hero by picking one path over the other.
