Recommend me some tips to play well game Polaris Sector

I really enjoyed watching “Star war”, it's one of my favorite movies. But it doesn't have a game version. I just stumbled across Polaris Sector, a game that seems to involve politics and brutal star wars. I'm just learning, so I don't have much experience. If everyone has a lot of experience, please share tips to play this game well.
