Hi everybody!

Well, I guess, this mod had to appear sooner or later. The task of this mod is to historically fix the existing Panzer Corps Flags.

Currently included:
Germany (3 options — National, Party and War Flag);
Condor Legion;
Yugoslavia (insignia bugfix).

User requested flags:
Ethiopia

Of course, I don't support the Nazi ideology and this mod is only for historical accuracy and immersion, I don't want to use it as any kind of propaganda.


CURRENT UPDATE: v.0.2, the changelog could be found here + Hotfix for Yugoslavia (better texture resolution).

Didn`t I read somewhere this could only be done, after proper modding tools are released?

Yeah, that's right. I've made this one intuitively using Unreal Engine. 2D textures are quite easy to edit, thankfully. But no real modding documentation and tools have yet been released. But I hope we'll have them soon, for more and better mods!

Couldn`t test your mod yet sadly. But from the screenshots it looks pretty good.
Lets hope for the best regarding modding tools.

I tried your mod out and changed everything in my subfolders as steted in your description.

It works like a charm in maps, the UI and also in the shop.

The faction flag has also changed when I select a unit.

Just one question: I suppose it is not possible to change the insignia of aircraft (I mean the insignia on the tail)?

And totally cool would be the possibility to place a "Fliegererkennungsflagge" or "Fliegertuch" on a tank to be better recognizable from friendly aircraft...

Thanks! The aircraft insignia are possible to change, but unfortunately it will be the one symbol on both wings, tail and so on. It's hardcoded right now.

I like your idea for improved flags!

I’m working actually on an Italian Mod. The mod starts in Ethiopia. As this country is not included I changed Turkey to Ethiopia.
But as I can only create 2D pictures, I have only a 2D flag for Ethiopia, see attachment.
Therefore I use actually the Turkey flag.

If you add a Panzer Corps 2 3D flag for Ethiopia I’m interested in including it in my mod.

Sure! They'll be included into the next package as well. Version 0.2 should be ready by the weekend, if everything's going alright.

'Shop flags' still bother me the most. They are too small, it's so hard to portray any details on them... So I've decided to make two different versions — a smaller copy of the original flag and a simplified version without small details and larger main emblem. Which one would you prefer?
