I decided to uninstall my old copy pc2...now I need the new installer but can't find a link to it...Could someone post it here to my question...

OK...AFTER I download it do I unzip it and then hit run?

need some help on this one. I've had trouble unlocking it before but the last time it went smooth but its been since the day the last DLC was released so I don't remember exactly and don't want to give you bad instructions. sorry good luck

i mean the last download was the 1.20, I haven't bothered with 1.21, yet

I am having the same problem...but my excuse is I am 64 and forgetful...

mine is i'm just not computer savvy. frustrating when I read about being able to patch in heroes etc. and not having a clue on how to do it. i've never liked the ZIP format. like when you download, its finishes, then gives you the RUN prompt, hit YES!. and we're off to the races. quick and idiot proof for us PC games for Dummies generation

meant to say I like the format where you download....

I agree with scorehouse...Slitherine needs to make downloading and installing sequence a lot more user friendly...but I have said that many times before..

Please do the following:
1. Please download the game's installer file from your your account's download area. (*)
2. Once you have downloaded the file "PanzerCorps2-MultiSetup-v01.01.10.zip" fully unzip it to a folder in your Hard Disk.
3. After unzipping, you should have three extracted files:
"PanzerCorps2-MultiSetup-v01.01.10.exe"
"PanzerCorps2-MultiSetup-v01.01.10.2"
"PanzerCorps2-MultiSetup-v01.01.10.3"
4. Run "PanzerCorps2-MultiSetup-v01.01.10.exe" to install the game.
5. When asked to insert the serial number, please click in the drop down menu "Select a New Product to Install... " and select "Panzer Corps 2".

Type your "Panzer Corps 2" serial number.
6. Click in the button "Activate Serial".
You should see then the game's name"Panzer Corps 2" being added to the list of games displayed in the box named "Setup as detected a valid serial number for:".
7. Then click on the "Next" button in order to proceed with the installation of the game.

Now let's install the update:
1. Download the last update v01.01.21 (PanzerCorps2-MultiUpdate-v01.01.21) (*)
2. Unzip the file and run the extracted file PanzerCorps2-MultiUpdate-v01.01.21.1.exe,
3. When asked to insert the serial number, please click in the drop down menu "Select a New Product to Install... " and select Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operation - 1940" .
Type your "Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operation - 1940" serial number.
4. Click in the button "Activate Serial".
You should see then the DLC name "Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operation - 1940" being added to the list of games displayed in the box named "Setup as detected a valid serial number for:".
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for unlocking "Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operation - 1939", "Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - Spanish Civil War", "Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operation - 1940" and "Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operation - 1941".
6. Then click on the "Next" button in order to proceed with the update of the game.

Now install the Panzer Corps 2 General Edition Upgrade:
1. Download the PanzerCorps2-MultiDLCSetup-Latest.zip (*)
2. Unzip the file and run the extracted file PanzerCorps2-MultiDLCSetup-Lates.exe.
3. When asked to insert the serial number, please click in the drop down menu "Select a New Product to Install... " and select "Panzer Corps 2: General Edition Upgrade".
Type your "Panzer Corps 2: General Edition Upgrade" serial number.
4. Click in the button "Activate Serial".
You should see then the game's name"Panzer Corps 2: General Edition Upgrade" being added to the list of games displayed in the box named "Setup as detected a valid serial number for:".
5. Then click on the "Next" button in order to proceed with the installation of the game.

THANKS FOR THE INSTALL PROCEDURE.!!!...YOUR EFFORTS TO HELP ME ARE NOT IN VAIN...I am getting a weird reply when I try to download and update PC2, IT READS: ERROR unable to download file.
An error occurred while trying to open an FTP file.
this happens when I click on the self updater from within the game.

I have never gotten the 'self installer' for PzC2 to work.
I have always downloaded the Slitherline Installer/Updaters and run them standalone.

Deleted . no longer relevant

ok.dalfrede...I will try that...this all started when the .21 update came out...Also could be the Windows updates screwed things up...

The procedure is extensive, and I'm repeating in some parts.

Usually this issue is caused by the interference of a Internet security program (a firewall, an anti-virus, an anti-malware, etc.) with the game update feature. Please check if any of your Internet security programs is interfering with the download from our ftp servers.

In this case usually it's easier if you download and install the update manually then troubleshoot the issue with your Internet security programs.
