Mage-Heroe in Fortress

I have a mage hero in my fortress but the castsing skill is not increased (1/6 of mageheroe casting skill).
A known bug ?

It should be displayed as "hero skill" on the Magic subscreen. Is it?

The Skill ist shown in "Magic" screen (95)85 but the maximum of skill power for casting ist just 85 .... eeach turn

Sounds like that's the DOS version. Works correctly, the hero skill is used between the turns, you cannot use it during your turn, but it does get used after you end the turn.
