IS THERE A FIX FOR THIS YET???...I AM ASKING FOR MANY FOLKS WHO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM...THIS HAS NOT BEEN ANSWERED FOR A LONG TIME...WHERE IS THE SUPPORT HERE??

you can find several workarounds for this issue, maybe 1 of them will help you ? If not im sorry.

Thanks Bee1976...I am not a techie...Im an older guy and having to fix these games is ridiculous!!!....this game needs to be updated again...I have gotten more help from gamers than the guys here at Slitherine...lack of support is frustrating!!!

I updated my AMD video card to more of a whizz-bang new one....that still has not helped!!!...this PANZER CORPS 2 WORKED FINE BEFORE THE .21 UPDATE...Again all this technical stuff goes over my head...we should not be subjected to these kind of technical problems...please when you release a game SLITHERINE make sure all the bugs are worked out of it!!!

It might be a long shot, but if you also have integrated GPU on your motherboard, make sure that it's disabled. This error is often caused by machine switching to integrated GPU for whatever reason (i.e. some laptops like to do that when on battery power).

Ice serpent...how do I find this "integrated GPU" on my Dell laptop?....I have a battery and the laptop is also pluged into the wall..

What's the model of your laptop? You can usually google something like "how to disable integrated graphics for [make & model of your laptop]" for details. Generally speaking, you can disable it either in Windows (device manager --> display adapters, right clock on adapter, select "disable"), or in BIOS (exact steps vary, depending on the motherboard / bios).

I have a Dell...I am not a techie at all...I may screw something up here so make it as plain and simple as you can...if you can help..

Ok, in the search window (bottom left of your screen) type "device manager", run the application it finds. You'll see a list, in that list find "Display Adapters", expand that entry by double clicking on it. Let me know if you see more than one adapter listed in that section, and if so, what those adapters are called.

AMD Radeon(TM) R4 Graphics...this is what is listed when I open up the display adapters...I appreciate your patience..Im 64 and all this computer stuff is greek to me...I understand some but not much when it comes to messin' with its innards!!!!...HAHA
On a new note...I turned off my malware and the game came up...except now I'm stuck on the "administrator" setting and not sure how to turn it off!!!
Also, the window of the PANZER CORPS 2 GAME that pops up is all crazy swirled colors like a pop art poster from the 1970s!...ah yes I remember them well....they were FAROUT MAN!

Radeon R4 is an integrated GPU. You've mentioned that you got a newer video card - what kind did you get?

I just update this one with new drivers......from the website...I was able to figure that out...

Oh, ok. Disregard my idea then - you only have one GPU.

what the heck is causing this??
