I had so many difficulties purchasing this and getting it to run:
The links on this page don't work.
When I went to the store and tried to purchase the web site locked up, several times. Eventually I worked out I had to put in my CC number manually as selecting the same card from the list didn't work.
When I tried to upload the DLC it failed because I don't have the latest patch. But it took me to a wrong page to get the patch.
Trying to upload the patch from the game menu doesn't work.
So I can get it to download from My Page, though most of the links don't work.
Happily everything downloaded and working now. Great game, not so great from Slitherine.

I"m having severe problems purch. the FOG2 Medival DLC. Nothing seems to work. Also, I am unable to update FOG2 Medival to the latest vers. thus denying me the ability to engage in MP

The DLC is great, I find the southern lists much more interesting than the northern, with many cool units :)
And the new terrains are awesome!

You really need a model supervisor that clearly know how the unit models should looks like in their period mister, except those already made in before, the new jinetes from the 1200s still wearing the bascinets.

We are well aware how the units would look at different periods. There is no deficiency of research. However, I have said before, this is not a large studio, our budget is limited, and the Jinete model has to cover up to 1500 AD. No model can be correct for the whole period. If we tried to make them accurately cover the maximum period, the models would end up all looking rather bland with the simplest of helmets. We prefer to use more interesting helmets, even if that makes them anachronistic for part of the period covered.

Chapel de fer seems like an good option can be correct(Relatively correct than bascinet because the bascinet first largely came up to use in 14th century) cover up from 1200AD to 1500 AD(Or like FoG2:Ancients?Add new unit textures also unit models over time).
And if the budget is limited,I strongly suggest that the studio should open a donate channel,I'm sure many players willing to donate the studio to see more unit textures and accurate unit models for the different periods(Including I,if there's really a donate channel I'll donate instantly).

glad I am not the only one having problems purchasing this from the slitherine site

going to wait a bit and see if it settles I guess (weird not accepting my payment details after a lot of attempts to get to the payment screen )

edit - having tried 4 times to pay for this with 2 different cards - I guess I am going to have to pass on the game as it just will not complete the order - pretty unimpressed

Have you seen this post from Slitherine:

I think that probably explains the problems people have been experiencing. Give it a day or two, I am sure they will sort it out, they can't afford not to!

just bought the Reconquista DLC and am playing the El Cid campaign.
I really like the setting, units and new terrain.
The battle is fun with a full mix of knights, foot infantry, and various ranged units especially the delightful crossbow units. It is a hard fight so don't expect a cakewalk.

Well worth buying this.
