Slitherine

I understood that this DLC would be released Yesterday.

It has not been released, and the post announcing its actual release date has disappeared.

Please explain what is happening, and tell us when we can expect this DLC to be available.

The only release date I ever saw was 21 May, and now, according to Steam, it's going to be available on 20 May. So, unless Steam is wrong and somewhow Slitherine haven't been in touch with them to correct it, it should be out by the end of the week.

I believe that FMBluecher is correct, apparently Steam says the DLC is due for release on 20th May. Although I can't see where it says that, others have mentioned it in this thread:

I have never seen anything to suggest that it would be today!

The release date was originally 21st May, but was moved forward to 20th May. It was never 18th May.

Just downloaded Reconquista. Installer tells me I need v !.01.06 to continue, but the updater tells me I already have the latest version which on my machine is 1.00.02

I think you were just too quick off the mark, it hasn't synched yet.

In the meantime, if you go to the "My Page" section on the Slitherine site, and login, then click on FOG2 Medieival Downloads, you can download the v1.0.6 Updater now.

I just looked and I too had version 1.00.02 and the updater said that this was the latest. However, I went to "My Page" on the website and there is indeed version 1.01.06 which I have just downloaded.

Just downloaded Reconquista, woo-hoo!

Well, I finally managed to get the order in but it was tough. Constant gateway problems. I finally gave up on the slitherine site and went to Matrix. Not as bad but also some gateway problems. Finally got to submit order and guess what...gateway problem. Tried it one last time and the order finally worked. Wow, that was a quite a challenge. Thankfully, I am going to guess Reconquista is well worth the trouble.

I had the same problem and eventually gave up and bought it from Steam.

Took a few tries, but I got Slitherine site to work. Switched from Chrome to Edge. Don't know if that helped.

I also use Chrome...maybe related. In the past, I have not had problems such as this while using Chrome.

And now I can't get to my page to download the medieval patch. Both Matrix and Slitherine sites are having major problems today. Another thing I am noticing is the site is constantly asking me to sign in again and again while just moving from page to page.

No, I haven't disabled cookies. However I am now doing the patch download. So I will hopefully be good to go once the download is complete. But yes, this has not been the usual order. The site is massively acting up for me.

I would echo Jagger's comments (and note there are others who have had issues) - just spent an hour trying to update the game to the latest version (through both the game updater and my page on the site). Reaching different stages in the process at various times but frequent error messages and repeated requests for me to sign in again after it has dumped me out of the process at whatever stage! Complete waste of time so giving up on that and therefore not buying the new DLC until the site sorts itself out. These things should really not be so difficult!

Don't give up because I am now up and running.
