Hi,

We are currently in a 5 player game and one of our players was eliminated early on. Does he have to wait for his faction to come back, or can he select another faction?

Sadly that's not possible, it's a limitation of the PBEM server, not of the game engine / Archon. You can advocate for how cool it would be on the Slitherine general forum though.

Thanks for the quick response. We'll probably just start over, as we're only on turn 18, and another player is close to being eliminated.

You can have "insurance" to cover being eliminated early by starting the game playing a second nation. When setting up the MP game make sure Hotseat is turned on, and increase the number of players to allow multiple selections.
