My local group is doing a tourney in about 6 weeks and I'm looking for some advice. I intend to run the list below. Any thoughts? Is 7 BG's too few? the list has lots of options for
different troops but I wanted to keep it as simple and high quality as possible. Is that a mistake?

Ordonnance French - 650 point Tourney list

Field Comander - 50
2 Troop Comanders - 70
3 BG 4x Ordonnance Men-at-Arms Kn Heavily Armored Superior Drilled
Lancers Swordsmen - 104 ea.
1 BG 6x Ordonnance Archers CV Protected Average Drilled Lancers
Swordsmen - 60
2 BG 8x Swiss Pikemen HF Protected Superior Drilled Pikemen - 64 ea.
1 BG 6x Franks Archers MF Unprotected Poor Undrilled Longbow - 24

total BG 7 Total Points 644

I would drop the FC to a TC and use the 19 points 'spare' to try to conjour another BG from somewhere.

Alternatively have fewer BGs but make them all really hard.

Overall, the list looks decent; 7 BGs is small, but doable for 650 pts.

Some changes I would make:

1) Replace some of the ordonnance knights with Feudal knights -- 1 BG of drilled knights is plenty

2) Get regular LB instead of Cav, also get stakes, protected Cav is bad news, and LB is the best shooting unit in the game

Skip one of the KN BG and get some more archers, its the key to victory.
