I've noticed that after my opponent played his turn, the Bohemian banner changed colours from well, Bohemian to something that looks like a patchwork of Breton banner and something else that I don't recognise.
Is it a bug?

That is one of the "Rebel" banners that is used when a player is using the distinctive banners option and the two armies have similar colour banners, in this case red.

I would guess that either your opponent (or yourself) switched on the distinctive banner option during their turn.

Ah, that explains the switch. I didn't know one can change banners like that. Thanks.

You can turn it on and off from the Options menu, however there is also a Hot Key - H that instantly turns it on and off.

Actually, as it was your opponents banners that changed, the most logical explanation is that you accidentally hit H to turn it on.

I guess I did that accidentally, yes. Certainly not intentionally.

I guess I should read the manual.
