Bought it yesterday on a whim.

Tried to figure it out today.

Level 1 spear men can't take cities , at least not for me. Level 2 could.

Nowhere did I see that in any documentation.

I printed the HTML manual out as text as the oline stuff doesn't quite make it for me. PDF or word please!

Is the tutorial any more then some charts?

Time for more then 1 opponent and "gasp" advanced rules.

The tutorial does tell you that level one armies can't take cities. So do the tool tips. The rules are not that complicated, and after looking over the tutorial and playing around for a bit, it's easy to figure out.

After rereading the tutorial which frankly I just glanced at, I see what you mean. I spent more time reading the online manual coverted to text last night.
