Losing Impact even with Flank Charge

I thought that if you do a flank charge, you are guaranteed winning with at least a +50 net POA. However, the image below shows that my poorly armed rabble that are moderately disordered still will lose 2% vs 19%. My best guess is that disordered status applies after the other POA considerations. Just confirming with this post. :)

Your guess is correct. See the (always useful) detailed tooltips of your fight (in option) :

btw the manual does not say that 'you are guaranteed winning with at least a +50 net POA'. It says 'the impact combat is fought on a guaranteed net POA' of +50 to the flank attackers in certain conditions listed on p. 74, which is the case above.

Keep in mind that even without disorder there's still a small chance to lose when flank-charging unengaged unit.

It's about 28% win, 68% draw and 4% to lose. One thing you should know about flanking is Cohesion Test Penalty for Flanking Threat. It's only active when you have the enemy unit with enough AP to charge your in the flank if that unit started in flanking zone beforehand.

So, if you think that you can move unit in the enemy flank and charge that exact enemy with different unit during this turn for the extra 1 CT - it doesn't work like that.
