40k Gladius Aeldari Balance?

Hope this is the right place for this, but I couldn't see a gladius section anywhere on the forums xD
So after playing some PVP, Aeldari seem really underpowered in large/longer games.
In pvp ive found Aeldari super struggle. They really struggle to expand past 3 cities since they have no support on loyalty increase, and other players will focus gates down really quick. They are strong early game or on a tiny map in a 1v1, but in a huge map, vs 1 or multiple players,. nearly every faction will just out-pace them with loyalty bonuses such as the Tau fireblades or hive tyrants. If you build a 3rd or 4th city, (assuming the gates haven't been hunted down) you spend the next 30 turns building loyalty buildings before even starting production since they dont have an ability like the necrons to quickly raise a structure.
The short term bonus isnt much for the cost of influence either.
