on the paratrooper training against Belgium. do you have to purchase paratroopers, change existing infantry, or what? do you need to deploy any other assets? and what about all the prototypes? will they become available? help really appreciated thanks i
ve played this scenario before bur canr remember how i got started?

The point of the training scenario is to train 5x Paratroopers for the invasion of the Low Countries.
You can convert some Wehr to Fall and buy the rest.
You bring a fighter or two to remove the two AI aircraft, bring Galland because he has Aiming Assistance.

You end up with 5x 2*+ Para for the campaign to go with the Pion infantry you already have.
by the end of AO40 you can convert some Para to Mountain infantry for Greece.

is mountain infantry a new choice or part of the existing choices?

Mountain infantry [Gebirgsjäger] become available the same time that the Fall become available [1940].

i thought that might be the unit to whom you were referring, thanks for help on the other battle. i've been offered a neu,,,, double turret tank prototype. is it worth it?

It has relatively good firepower due to the RapidFire 1.5x, but definitely no defense against any armoured units you may face even in 1940, which is what you will need to engage with your armoured units, so in my opinion it is a simply trash with no real combat value, just as that vehicle was in history and mentioned in the in game text. Neu/bau/fahrzeug means "newly built vehicle" in Germany.

I don't agree to this. With my heroes this one of my best tanks (Neubaufahrzeug). I have strengh 20 and a hero that he shoot first all the time, a great steamroller. But honestly, I like my Verdeja too...

Yep, but it really need more efforts and more specific heroes than other units to be useful at all, so it would be up to playstyles, and, RNG. Without those heroes that give defensive bonus (not to mention the new slider for hero chance and those no-hero runs), it is really a glass cannon that cannot hold its own ground even in open.
