I see that this troop type can be deployed as either HF or MF - same AP cost - and the troop notes describe how they were re-equipped for fighting in terrain.

In a competition - can they be deployed as you choose, similar to the re-equipped Alexandrian Macedonian foot companions?

Or do you have to make a choice and stick to it?

Me too - but as they're the same cost I thought it was worth asking the question.
