I'm playing a multiplayer game called DIADOCHOI, we are at the 18th turn and since this morning it crashes.
What should I do ? How do I contact the other players to see if they have the same problems and tell them that I'm not Idle but just stuck ?

For information the game crashes due to something > max faction length or something. I submit the report to the dev team.

Same issue here on 2 of my 5 running multiplayer games.

The game crashes to the desktop when I try to load the game.

Error message: length <= MAX_FACTIONS .\Region.cpp(115)

I made no modifications to the config files oder use any mods. Already tried to repair the game files through steam.

In another two games I got several out of synch message but they finally disappeared.

It's just a shame that the game couldn't be frozen or something.
Since I made this post, two turns expired with only a few player able to play it and then the game just disappeared.
Didn't receive an email or anything. It's a bit frustrating to start a game and having it just disappear like that with noboby being able to do anything about it in time ...

Having the same issue in our game "Let's Get Ready to Rumble". As best as I can tell only one of us was able to complete our tenth turn and nobody seems to have completed the 11th turn so far.

On the plus side I'm not showing as being idle in the game yet.

Has anybody's game multiplayer game recovered once this starts?

I guess I'll start PMing the other 12 players who were not idle before this started and see how it is going for them.

Nope, but I think it is the same for all players.

If you started a MP game with the beta 1.35, then you better stop them.
If you are trying to continue a MP game using the official version, 1.34, then it should now work again (from what I gleaned for the Production team). It's provided nobody is trying to play it with the beta though!

Is there anyway the game we were playing can be put back on the server at the state it was before the crash happend ?

Yeah, still got a problem with the game lets get ready to rumble. So, if one of the players is using the beta we can't continue?

Another problem is, how do we even end the game if it won't start up?

No change for me but I still got the error, maybe someone has still the beta patch installed.
Anyhow the game is locked on 2nd April.

@Pocus, if you cannot restore the situation, can you delete this game at least?

Patch must have fixed the stalling issue.

I have just had the same thing happen to me today. I am not using the Beta version.

The issue occurs because the beta version puts incompatible game files onto the same server as non-beta players. This will be fixed with the patch release. Sorry again for the inconvenience.

As the game kept crashing in my last multiplayer game we have now started a fresh one. However I still cannot take part as the game keeps crashing as before.

Mea culpaI The problem appears to be solved, I hadn't downloaded the last patch.
