I would welcome thoughts on the following list.

Early Swiss 1315 12 bg +2 pbi

Crossbows 3 x 4 LF un av dr xb - -
Crossbows 1 x 6 LF un av dr xb - -
Mounted 1 x 4 LH un av dr xb - -
Enfants 1 x 6 LF un po un jv - -
Halberds 2 x 10 HF pr su dr - hw hw
Halberds 4 x 8 HF pr su dr - hw hw
C-in-C ic
Subs 2 x tc

or.....

Would it be better to go for 4 x tc and get an extra bg of xb ( 5 x 4 ) ?
Would it be better to have 1 x 12 hw & 5 x 8 hw rather than the 2 x 10 ?

Cheers

Can the halberdiers be in BGs of 4? You could turn those 6 BGs into 13 and have a Swiss Swarm of 19 BGs! Actually, I don't know if I like that idea, but it would fun to try.

I would consider this (assuming 4's are allowed):

5 x 8 HF
3 x 4 HF

You can give rear support to the entire line, and the supporting BGs on the ends of the line can defend against a flank charge.

Sadly no, the halberds are 8-12 in the early version. Yes the 4s looked good, maybe too good and that is why they are not allowed.

Of course they will argue it has something to do with historical accuracy deep formations etc.
