1941 DLC constant crashes

The game constantly crashes each time I try to upgrade units at the begging of the scenario. This is getting really annoying

Ok, this is happening only when I try to purchase and upgrade my panzer units, the rest works fine

Is this a GOG version? Please try to use the solution described here:
