Hi
Ive tried to play a couple of user games in Pike and Shot, they seem to download ok but then I dont seem to be able play them in multiplayer. It just flicks back to skirmish mode

any tips on running these games?

Hello, the same thing happens to me, I don't know if it is an error when downloading, if you could solve it I would like to know

havent found out anything yet but noticed several "user games" listed in the multiplayer list so someone must know how to do it

Are you sure that you have downloaded a Multiplayer scenario?

P&S scenarios are either Single Player or Multiplayer, you can filter them by buttons at the top of the Download Community Scenarios page. To be able to be played in MP the scenario designer has to design a seperate MP version of his scenario. It's possible that you have downloaded an SP scenario.

BTW, you are probably better off posting questions like this in the Pike and Shot forum, rather than General Discussions. I doubt that many P&S experts look in the General Discussions forum regularly. Granted the Pike and Shot forum is a bit difficult to find these days, as it is tucked away in the Classic Games section, but here is a direct link;

Can you get to the Pike and Shot forum using the link I gave?

Can you give me an example of an MP scenario that you have downloaded, and I will see if it works for me?

Hi Tony,

It works fine for me. Are you sure you are doing it right?

First select the scenario you want to download from the list, remember to turn on the filter for Multiplayer only at the top of the screen, and then select the "Download Selected Campaign" button at the bottom:





Then go to Multiplayer from the main screen, and select the scenario that you want to create a challenge for from the list. Then click on the "Create" button at the very bottom of the screen:





Then you just have to wait for someone to accept your challenge.
