Hi guys, how did you collect the 5 star goal with AA AT or recon unit?

AT: its easy to archive for mobile AT in trilogy (stug 3, su 85, jagdpanther,....) but nearly impossible for towed unit (without ability to switch to arty, like the 76mm of ussr)
Scout: harder than AT but doable, i dont use them much bcoz aerial scout is way more useful and safe. German has some strong scouts or japanese in early war with chinese. Since light tanks have flexible path, they nearly remove scout unit from the game by the ability of chasing, capturing and cutting off enemy supply.
AA: i reach maximum 4* towed AA in the battle of berlin, its my record, harder difficulty (more than 3rd one) with better plan can lead to 5* but i dont think you will choose to elite repair them.

Extremely expensive to get there, I personally keep units at 3 star and if they happen to go further without reinforce that's good enough for me.

If you're desperate to get a unit to 5 star for the achievements the Soviet campaign's later two acts are an easy way to do it as you have a ton of money coming in and especially on normal can afford to do it.

You can get them at either of the Pacific DLCs, too. Choose (or upgrade to) the mobile variant of AA or AT!

But you have to REALLY go for it and always elite repair, of course.
