Questions

Here's some stuff that I simply can't decide how and if it works:

1. When do you get most RP: when you finish before the scenario-turn limit or when you wait until the last turn in order to get the all RP from the scenario income? And how does the Early Victory condition fits with this?
2. Can a hex town be captured by ZoC? Can a ZoC fulfill a victory condition (I'm thinking here about the encirclement or establishing-supply-lines scenarios) all by itself, without me actually moving units adjacent to one another?
3. What's with the highlighted areas of the commanders? Is it some sort of influence, like all allied units present (core and non-core) in those areas also benefit from the commander's bonuses?
4. Besides using the horrible editor, Is there any way to achieve a minor victory at Stalingrad in the Red Steel campaign, so as to activate the Mars-Iskra branch?
5. Loading the Red Steel campaign in the editor, one can see a Vyazma scenario, between Kholm and Crimea; however, there is no Vyazma scenario in the campaign?!? What's the deal here: bug, forgotten or dropped out scenario or what?

Looking forward to any clarifications.

Some answers:

1. You get RP for all turns, even when you complete the battle earlier
4. Major victory needs all objectives achieved, so having done primary, but not all secondaries gives you a minor. Not achieving primary goals results in a failure of course.
5. The cam just skips this entry because this scn was cut out during development

Not safe in case the flag is not fully raised and the city unoccupied but this is a special case (?)

Thank you for those replies.

1. I checked this on all campaigns, minus Red Storm and the new Allied Campaign, and there is no consistent behaviour. On most scenarios, I got more RP by deliberately ending things in the last turn, sometimes I got less (definitely fewer such happenings). The one situation where this seemed to be consistent are the Early Victory scenarios.
2. I witnessed the AI capturing a town by ZoC (kinda normal, given the way it cheats), but also in specific encirclement scenarios (Stalingrad, Demyansk, Winterstorm - for instance), when I refrained from achieving the objective because of 1., the scenario finished with the enemy surrounded via ZoC, so...
4. Yes, well, I should've maybe added the fact that I tried this and I got Defeat or Major Victory, the latter even when not achieving all primaries.
