I had to reimage a corrupted NVME SSD for my system drive. I keep all my games on a separate HDD. Now here's the issue, Even though the HDD was not affected, PC2 will not run from the executable, and I'm prompted to re-install the game. I suppose something gets installed to the C drive no matter where you put the game. Having completed SCW, 1939, and 1940 DLC's I'd rather not lose my core units or my progress. I'm afraid if I reinstall all will be reset to zero. When I saved I just used the default titles, nothing custom. Can I recover these and reload them after a re-install or should I just wait for 1941 DLC and hope that it fixes the issue?

Interestingly enough most of my other Matrix/Slitherine games did not experience this problem. I'd appreciate any advice.

I've done multiple reinstalls and never lost data. But I also purchased through Steam which has cloud storage. As for the saved games, unit cores, custom scenarios, etc. should be located in Documents>My Games>Panzer Corps 2

Thanks, R2G2. I'll have a look.

The save files are in your Windows documents folder:

...\\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2

This folder is not deleted if you uninstall the game. So the saved files are preserved even after a reinstall.
