As the title said, some times when light troop type units get into melee but don't play melee sounds no matter melee with other light troops or other troops.
I know, but I means sometimes they don't play that "not loud sounds" like in FoG2:Ancient,that means, entirely no sounds.I believe that was a bug,if the forum can let the users upload the video then I'll show that.rbodleyscott wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 2:23 pm They normally do, but they aren't as loud as the sounds for non-light units. (Because there are less of them).
I don't think it can, but you could host it somewhere else and link it.Dux Limitis wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 1:59 amI know, but I means sometimes they don't play that "not loud sounds" like in FoG2:Ancient,that means, entirely no sounds.I believe that was a bug,if the forum can let the users upload the video then I'll show that.rbodleyscott wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 2:23 pm They normally do, but they aren't as loud as the sounds for non-light units. I did already. If it sometimes doesn't work there must be special circumstances. Your video could help to discover what those special circumstances are.Dux Limitis wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:04 amNo link could be used mister, could you try it in game editor to look into it?rbodleyscott wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 8:03 amI don't think it can, but you could host it somewhere else and link it.Dux Limitis wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 1:59 am

I checked again with the editor, and checked my laptop,it seems something wrong with my laptop's sound card because I tried on my desktop at home and that works well,It's my mistake, sorry for the trouble.rbodleyscott wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 11:05 amI did already. Not sure why you cannot use a link, plenty of people are doing so.
However, I would note that only one close combat sound effect is played for the combat, and if one of the units is elephants or mounted troops, their sound effect will take precedence. Perhaps that is the cause in your example?
Thanks for the follow up report.Dux Limitis wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 2:24 pm I checked again with the editor, and checked my laptop,it seems something wrong with my laptop's sound card because I tried on my desktop at home and that works well,It's my mistake, sorry for the trouble.
