Could someone please clarify the rule for LH shooting. I had assumed they could shoot all round which they had been doing without anyone making any comment. Deciding if a target alongside is in front or behind is simply a matter of common sense. In my last game I was informed by a player with considerably more experience than I have with the rules that they could only shoot forwards or backwards - not sideways. This seems a bit odd as this is probably the easiest direction to use a bow! (The LH in question had javelins but there is no distinction between different weapon types)

They can only shoot forwards, or backwards with a - POA. They can, however, turn without any problems.

They don't shoot sideways. Think of it in terms of having enough firepower to have an actual impact.

Now remember you get a one base wdith arc. So slightly to your front (or rear) and off to the side one width you can still get some bases firing, just not the whole BG.
