monitor

yes when i try to open the game from steam, my screen flickers. i've tried my other slitherine games and its ok.
i did downlowd all the dlcs but this is the first time it happened. is because of the dlc's?

Unlikely. Try disabling the Steam overlay to see if that helps. You should also check the resolution you are running in to ensure it is appropriate.

i'm having this same issue now. Both pike and shot and sengoku jidai crash on startup with screen flickering and the mouse inputs no longer accepted on the monitor the game is playing on. turning off steam overlay did not help. would i change the resolution before opening the game?

You can try altering the resolution, and changing the game from fullscreen mode, in the OPTIONS.TXT file (in Documents/My Games/<game folder>). The REZX, REZY, and FULLSCREEN values are the ones you should tinker with, then save the file, and run the game.
