Anybody tried any of these figures yet ? They look good in the photos on their website but are rather expensive at nearly £1 GBP per cavalry figure. Are they worth the extra cost compared to say Essex ? I'm thinking of buying some of the generals, as they at least look like generals rather than just another cavalryman with a sword.

horses are a bit huge in the face, but... who cares.
those mid-republican romans are tempting.

				The romans are really nice.
I'm a bit more reserved about the celts and the macedonians...
I find the poses are too static, wich is quite fine for the romans but problematic for the celts.

Speaking of cost, do not forget if you live outside the US you might have to pay extra custom taxes

From what I can see, I prefer Xyston and Corvus Belli

If you look at the battlegroups they cost 89p per cav and a shade under 40p per inf figure I think that's a little too high to tempt me.

The figures I believe are Fantassin, I have some British 15mm, they blend in nicely with my minifig figures.
