Can I disband exported core unit without buy back in next campagin?

Greeting! I am new to the game.
I have finished the Blitzkrieg campaign and export core to Panzerkrieg, just discover the credit balance is fixed at the start of campaign and I have to buy back my unit.
Some of the units are very low in experience and still using outdated equipment,
if I buy it back I have to spend extra cash to upgrade which just doesn't seem worth it.
However these units keep appear in the unit panel and I can't find a way to dismiss them,
do I just miss the button or they will just stuck in the unit panel throughout my whole campaign?
Thanks. :D

Speaking of exporting core, I am doing a red star campaign simultaneously and have reached the last scenario - Moscow.
Judging from previous experience, should I just disband useless units and the end of the scenario and upgrade all veteran troops to the most update model before scenario ended?

And... just one more question :D
I am using Yak as my fighter force, but I am not sure if yak upgrade line is the best? Or should I switch to La series?

Long long time ago when panzerkrieg released, you actually could disband exported units for small benefit. Now they’re fixing it for better exported mechanic. If you buy back and place exported units in deployment phase (NOT between battle), you just need to spend tiny rp to upgrade them to newer one, example, bring back your veteran 3* inf’41 and upgrade to inf’42 cost very same as buying freshing inf’42 (with 0 or 1*). The new upgrade cost now is the differential cost, even to different franchies (eg: from normal inf to heavy or para one). So you dont need to upgrade your units to maximum at the end of campaign.

In the end, the La fighter is a bit more suitable for air to air combat, while the Yak is far more better at strafing ground/navy. So, its up to you, but i prefer the Yak a little bit because you wont face many fighters at the last DLC of USSR

Thank you! Haven't notice the upgrade cost discount :)
Still, there is some units I want to disband (some near 0 exp Artillery unit) but seems I have no choice but let them stuck in my unit panel :(

And thinks for the advice about fighter choice, I think I'll stick with yak then :)
