Early Middle Ages

Hello there,

will FoG Medieval also get some Early Medieval Content? It would be nice to see Early Medieval Clashes from the "Dark Ages" with the reworked UI and especially the sounds and ambient music of Medieval.
I always thought that the style between classics/antique and early medieval differentiated too much. That's why I was never able to play Wolves at the Gates with default sounds. I used the OST of Last Kingdom and Vikings +- some gregorian chorals with greater success for bringing me in the mood for this FoG2 DLC :).


The music and style of Medieval matches far better with the grimn culture of the "Dark Ages".

Yes !

Thanks to the Time Warp free module (available soon in FOG2 Medieval), any army from FOG2 Ancients will be able to fight against Medieval armies from FOG2 Medieval.

Moreover, the FOG2 Ancients lists whose date range extends past 1000 AD will also be able to play each other.

And no need to own FOG2 or its DLCs.

Thanks that sounds great. It seems to be available today. Some of the medieval banners, like from Anglo-Saxons 1066, are now also available for the Early-Medieval lists.
Unfortunately, some lists are still using generic banners or gallic symbols (boar). Looks like I have to wait for a Mod for having Vikings with Raven banners :-).

I see fog 2 medieval updated but I can't figure out how to activate time warp, any suggestion?

In custom battle --> select another module --> Time Warp

A question. If I have FOG 2, will I be able to play early vs early in FOG 2: Medieval?

And turn off the Date and Geography filters in the Enemy Army setup UI.
