Originally purchased game April 2008. Been playing since then. I want to download a copy to a second PC. I go through Find My order and Digital River Download Managers gives me the following error message:

The server returned an error response:
403 Forbidden

Need some advice.

Did you purchase the extended download option from Digital river? If not they only keep the files for a limited time. We suggest you backup your download immediately so you can re-use it later.

I did not purchase extended download. Anyway to retrieve a copy of the executable file?

We don't actually host the files - they are all on the DR server so it would be down to them whether they let you or not. If they do let you make sure you burn a backup of the installer for your files as it's a real pain not to have it. Just as a note, the digital rights are for a single copy so not intended for use on multiple PC's simultaneously for things like multiplayer.

i am the only user, I just want to load it on a couple of laptops for me to have access to it in different locations. Does the license allow for that?

Yes no problem

Another option is to try and copy the files over without installing but you may run in to some issues as the installer sets up things you need to run the game.
